Day 170/365

Whilst sorting through hard drives I’ve been finding so many unshared images and unprocessed gems. I’ve always been extremely critical of my work and so wouldn’t release imagery as I never thought they were good enough. I also feared the critique I’d get as I’m self taught and was terrified everything was wrong… which to be fair would have actually helped me learn so much more, so much faster. Hindsight eh!

Anywho, these were taken whilst assisting Lucy Nuzum Photography for The Goddess Room close to two years ago :)

Lakeside with Diana

This is the last batch of photos of the set from the lake. More photos to come of Francesca though because she is a beaut and I was lucky enough to get her out a few times while in San Francisco :)

Rain Rain go away…

Today has been wet, rainy and miserable. After an initial morning of productive study with loads learned the rest of the day slightly fell apart. Study hasn’t been all that productive since and everything I tried to photograph turned out a mess. I had a brief moment in which I just wallowed in unnecessary self pity that the summer is finally over. Then I just pulled myself together and got back to the books. It’s also the weekend, can’t be bummed about that!

Tomorrows another day. A new day. A great day :)

Park Air

Another day in the library followed by a short shoot. Keith was a blast to photograph as he was full of chats which made the time fly. It was also the perfect cure to my study migraine, to mosey about the park finding the rare spots which still had light. Was severely overcast but I live in Ireland so had want to get used to this, and quick, ha!

Ps… how deadly this tattoo?! Awesome, yes! :)

Shining Eyes

After a day in the library and a shoot in the evening I was simply too exhausted to get these finished in time for last nights post. After a good nights sleep however here they are, and I love them :)

It was a simple shoot in Stephens Green park and we were in and out of the place within 40 minutes. Found a few spots with nice light and one with a giant beast of swan, but none compared to the last spot with the perfect light and colors I’d hoped for. The lens flair and beam of sun are far from a photoshop adition. Huzzah :)

Can’t thank Ricky enough for making the treck into town to do this shoot at all. The weather couldn’t have been more spasticated yesterday constantly switching from pooring rain to a beaming sky. In the end we got lucky and struck gold.
