A belated HAPPY NEW YEARS :)

So I came back to blogging only to disappear again which fricken sucked since I have so much back-logged posts to share. On a good note though, not only is my internet back up and running (fingers crossed for good now) I have the interwebular network IN MY ROOM!! This is a luxury beyond my comprehension. HUZZAH!

Anywho, I didn’t bring my camera out with me on new years eve from the fear it would be lost or stolen. So, since these photos slipped the crack of my blog last year, I though why the heck not now :)

Happy 2013, may it be an exceptional year x

The Little Things

Today was simple yet not half bad. I got up, organized my college notes and then lounged about the house falling asleep periodically until 6pm. I woke up realizing I still had a photo to take so wondered into the front garden snapping away and taking these. Tomorrow I’ll be heading towards town to face the library and the study that must be done.

Harvard

Yaaay, today I got to roam the campus of Harvard and explore the famous grounds. The campus itself was so much smaller then I originally thought but still full of those typical things to see.

Off campus I saw the Harvard crimson society building and the outrageous student campus accommodation. Their student lounging areas makes the one we have at home look like a public rest stop. Chandeliers and fancy couches spread across the hall was only the tip of their luxurious ways.

Rich and I then went to get lunch in a spot I thought would be picture perfect. This was before the weather completely turned and clouds filled the sky. We did get to watch one chess player annihilate the other before doing one last lap of the town before heading off.

Had such a good day, can’t wait for tomorrow and Fenway park. Yeeeeow :)

Student Living

After my adventures in the Berkely Hills I had this epic endeavor with the girls. Today was wet, rainy and cold so I spent my time collaborating these photos from yesterday. They save you from having to look at photos from a day that was anything but blog worthy, and so I’v decided to count this as my photo for today since this is when I processed them.

What you see is the trek back to our apartment with a chest of drawers that we found on the side of the road for free. People around Berkeley just give there unwanted stuff away by leaving it on the street for people to claim, which worked out perfectly for us. So, we claimed this as our own to try fill our apartment with some sort of storage unit. Win!!

The trek back was truly hilarious. Since this was such a heavy block of furniture we used a small rollable desk chair as a trolley to get it back home. I can’t even imagine what people walking by must have thought seeing us slowly roll this down the road. There was also the following of Kate and I with manky kitchen chairs, not to mention me hovering around with my camera document it to a T.

I took a good few video clips of this too which will have to be turned into something for entertainment value. Words can’t do this wee mission any justice, but I hope you can enjoy the photos none the less :)

Moving Day

Didn’t get to many photos taken again today as San Francisco was rather dull and extremely foggy. I was also working (oh yes, job success!!) along with moving into are brand new sparkling apartment which is ours for the summer.

Once I’d gotten back from work I moved over to Berkeley and went for a stroll on campus. I have decided this shall be my reading bench once I’ve started my summer book. All recommendations welcome :)

It feels awesome to finally have a are place we can call home for the next two months. No work tomorrow so Ill have to go on a local adventure so watch this space. Huge photo post is a coming!!!
