Was down in Kerry this week with family and had a wonderful greeting from Molly the households pet pig. Really made it clear we were now in the country! Ha.

Arrived Tuesday night and was of course offered an abundance of tea, apple crumble & wine. Sat around chatting before bed to rest up for the next days activities. Wednesday we went to see the Skelligs but sadly only 2 out of the 4 of us could fit on the boat. My cousin Cliff and I were lucky to get the seats since the others had seen it before and fugging hell was it incredible.

In a nutshell the Skellig Islands are together a world heritage site famous for their thriving gannet and puffin populations, and for an early Christian monastery located at the very top. The steps to the top are steep, dangerous and awesome! Once in the monastery you get to chill out with the view of Kerry on one side and the wide open Atlantic ocean on the other. If your around it’s definitely worth the visit.

After the Skelligs we had lunch and drove around the ring of Kerry. I’m sure it was beautiful but to be honest I fell asleep… to be fair though, I had just done one hell of a stairmaster workout! Ha!

Great few days and got to finish my book guilt free on the train trip down :)
Back at the desk now to catch up on all admin milarky!

Until next time,

Day 61/365

Evening adventure around Dun Laoghaire on Thursday after work. There was ice-cream, boats, more ice-cream and more boats… there was also one fire breathing dragon and a cup of tea!

So happy Teddys has extended to the end of the pier as it’s the best place to sit, chill and enjoy the view =)

Day 59/365

Had a few afterwork/goodbye drinks yesterday as Canada is taking my dear friend Mikey. The proper ‘Last Hurrah’ was Saturday but a few casuals in the Pav is the real way to say the ol’ farewell.

Just a few atmospheric snaps as I didn’t want to spend the evening with my camera in everyones face :)

Until next time,
Chloë

Day 54/365

Technically Longitude was day 50 but going through all the photos and separating them for work/personal use took time… also doing this work with the full time internship and the part-time social media work based in London causes me to get back-logged with the 365. I do and will catch up, even the best jugglers sometimes drop their balls! Forgive me :P

Anywhooo… Longitude was phenomenal and restored my faith in festivals after an abysmal experience a few years ago. Already looking into the next. Can’t wait =)

Until next time,
Chloë
