It was the sunniest of days today and I captured so many beautiful photos whilst on location at a photoshoot. The light was glorious as were the colors. I captured a photo of the tiniest of birds drinking from a pond and a view of the Bay Bridge without a cloud in the sky.

There was also a moment where I passed an old couple reading on a bench. They were sitting in the sun so content with one another which was so sweet to see. I asked them kindly if it was okay for me to take a photo of them and they were happy as Larry to let me snap away.

So now you might be thinking, “why is this nutcase telling me about photos that are so far from the ones I see”. Well, right after I had taken all these lovely photos, and was finished with a photoshoot I was so excited to share I went and got my camera stolen… i so badly wish i was joking, but I’m not!!!

The moment it was gone I was in disbelief. I was numb and for any readers who often stop by it is what makes my blog. It helps me capture and focus on all those amazing moments in life that usually pass by and are forgotten forever. After feeling numb I of course broke into tears, which is rare of me, especially on the street. Rich cheered me up and my friend Tara found me wondering and gave me the hug of all hugs.

This all seems ridiculous being over a camera, but I have never had so many readers stop by to see my blog. I felt as if I’d let you guys down, failing at my own project and not having an adventure for you to see. The comments I get endlessly cheer me up. I never thought people would love my photos as much as they say they do. So thank you for that, all of you.

Anywho, now I’m without my camera only nine days into my daily project. However, I refuse to give up on this 90 day challenge and 100% WILL find a way of continuing it along with making it great!! Tomorrow, mission get a loan of sorts and a camera, will commence. Last summer I missed out on all my plans due to the broken arm, so this year I’ll do everything in my power to stay on track.

For today, here are photos I took back in March. They are from another photoshoot I did with the lovely Ivana Patarcic who you’ve seen on my blog before.

Once the photos from this shoot have been released I’ll share them with you all. It may not be the behind the scenes of the shoot from today but it’s behind the scenes of different sorts.

Until next time,
– The girl with the [Train Tattoo]

  1. I just want to give you a big hug after reading that. I’d be exactly the same if my camera was robbed. You’re not letting anyone down, your blog is brilliant x
