Today I went and explored the Berkeley Hills. I left the apartment at roughly 12pm and just walked for hours up the steep San Francisco edge along the fire trail. I was told by a couple that the fire trail led to the top with a spectacular view, which was true, but to get there took hours.
Once I finally made it to the top, all I found was some unsightly concrete building. I was somewhat dissapionted that I didnt get to see the whole of San Francisco so started my decent back towards the apartment.
On my way back down, I came across Susan and Betty, the most adorable ladies I could have possible passed by. I was so close to just walking by and continuing my decent until I quickly turned and asked if this view point was anywhere in range.
This question turned out to be the best thing I could have possibly asked. Susan and Betty were so kind and not only told me where it was but showed me. They told me all the places to go and things to see while I was here in San Francisco. Then amazingly enough they asked to give me a lift back down the incredibly steep hill, saving me hours of my day.
The view was spectacular and I wouldn’t have gotten to see it if it wasn’t for these two gems. They were certainly the highlight of my day. Serious
Until next time,
