Slowly but surely I’m getting old and this weekend I hit the 21st digit. Since there is an abundance of birthdays on at the minute (not to mention a ball) I decided I’d keep it simple and do dinner and a movie all curled up on the couch.

I was in work Sunday morning but Rich left me a small gift to wake up to. Along with a hot water bottle (since I have circulation worse then the elderly, not really, but close enough) he got me a message in a bottle necklace which I’d snapped way back in September (see it here) Ain’t he sweet. Later on after dinner he also gave me two tickets to see TOMMY TIERNAN, as comedy is one of our favorite things. Can, not, wait

Mother was also awesome and got me the bamboo pen and touch which I’ve been longing for for a lengthy period indeed, Huzzah. As you can see, she also put my candles into plant pots which I found to be picture perfect.

Almost forgot this last gem, which was the best happy birthday I got online from my dear friend Fletch. She put a message into google which she knew could trace back to my blog. Exceptionally AWESOME, well played
